Oops, my OCD is showing

I have any itty bitty little fold out desk. It was perfect in my old apartment, where I had a tiny room that I spent all my time in. Now that I have more space and a living room to myself I spend most of my time on the couch, using the coffee table as a desk!

I usually just threw stuff into my desk and just ignored it. I figured it was about time to get it cleaned out and ready for my future adventures. This is just a start and I am looking forward to having space for a full sized desk but this will do for the time being!

Here is one side of the drawer. I tried to organize it as much as possible. The top left holds tape and ink pads, little sewing supplies in the top left, flash drives and binder clips are below that and the botto, holds scissors and stapling supplies. Highlighters go in the bottom groove.

The bottom shelf is my Project Life scrapbooking supplies. I love that stuff! The top shelf is my little paper holder organized by: lined paper, colored paper, printer paper and resume paper on top.

Sorry these pictures are a bit out of order. The top pink drawer is where I put all my papers that need to be shredded. I really need to empty it because the cats have discovered they can get into it and make a splendid mess. The bottom shelf is mostly school books. The little metal holder on top of my desk holds my address book and cards, sharpies, and a pad of sticky notes.

My label maker ran out of labels by the time I got to this cabinet. The blue thing holds: rubber bands, spare pens/pencils/lead, note cards and one empty drawer. The binder will soon hold all my old school notes that I may want to reference in the future. The basket on the far right holds all my files: bank statements, manuals, important receipts, etc.

Here the desk is opened up! It is tiny but fits perfectly in our little dining room nook. The top left drawer holds various tabs and labels, and the far right holds clips and pins. In between the two are "odds and ends", external hard drive and chargers, and checks. The shelf below that holds planners and small notebooks. On the desk itself you can see my little jar of small sticky notes, my pen and pencil holder, my label maker and the little box I put photos and small things that I want to scrapbook.

Here is the other side of my drawer. I have a slight sticky note obsession. And yes, I do need to label where things go! If I don't the boy will steal my supplies then throw them back all haphazard!
